How To Use Your Usage Package
Your usage statistics can be seen by typing your URL name with a /usage/ at the end of your domain name. Here's an example of what you'd type in: http://www.site-name.com/usage/. The new usage server built with the newest updates and latest server analysis technology records all server statistics after May 20th. You can see this by clicking the link saying, "Enhanced MVI Solutions Usage" and find your old usage statistics that recorded your usage from any date before May 20th by clicking "Old Usage Statistics" link.
Keeping Your Site Ranked High
Keeping your site ranked high is a continual process. Most think
when you build a website and submit to the search engines
you'll get all the traffic you wanted for which ever keywords
you wanted to be ranked high for. This has never been the case.
It takes marketing work to optimize each page on your site and
then studying the results. Even after your site has been submitted
and the pages have been optimized you still might not rank first.
It might take a second time of optimizing your pages to achieve
the top ten ranking positions. There are no guarantees in this practice.
Because of search engine algorithms (the method in which a
search engine ranks your site) changes so much your website
will rank high for a few months and then all of a sudden drop in
rankings. This is from the search engines changing the way they
rank sites. If you market your site one time and let it sit there it
will most likely drop in rankings. Thousands of websites are submitted
to search engines everyday. To beat the competition (in your
same industry) you must change your site and flow with the search
engine algorithms.
The key is to keep marketing your site, tweaking it, fixing the meta tags
or header tags, content, and tricks that you used to get your site ranked
high to keep it ranked high in the current changes in the search engines.
What tricks you used to get it ranked high months ago probably aren't
going to get you the same rankings today and won't be the same tricks
you'd use today either.
The only way to get the top rankings for the keywords you want is to
continually upgrade your site to be compliant and search engine friendly.
You may not have top rankings today or after your next submission but
if you keep marketing your site you will achieve the rankings you want.
