There are quite a few organizations with their membership lists on
the Web. Most are "static" pages where the list is simply alphabetically
listed and only searchable by scrolling through the list. It
also makes it very easy for a web savvy marketer to download
the list and add it to his mailing list. They are also pretty

searchable. Visitors can either ask for a listing by company
name or click on categories. Using either search method the
results returned give the company's name, web and email addresses,

be bolded or colored, have a description or logo added, or be

The Online Survey feature within the Member Directory Online Membership Directory allows you to poll your membership on any topic imaginable within a protected environment. An unlimited number of survey questions (all multiple choice) can be posted under an unlimited number of topics. Members can be limited to voting once on each question.
Organizations can control which user types can:
- Create a poll
- Participate in specific polls
- View results of specific poll (via percentage and/or absolute numbers)
Polls appear on specified dates, as determined by the administrator. Questions can be added/edited/deleted in real time without a loading time. The surveys can be fully maintained using the user-friendly admin section of the Member directory.
Now you can keep your members fully informed and involved with the Online Member Directory. With the event calendar feature, you can list all of your events by month and provide a link to a profile page that will include all information for that event, including optional links to an event registration form and related bulletin board topics.

Member Directory has introduced email technology into the online membership directory. Organization members can now subscribe and unsubscribe to e-mail communication threads. With lists, your organization can add an unlimited number of email threads, spanning the many areas of interest that your organization deals with.
By going to their profile within the directory, members can check those lists that they have access to and want to receive. They can receive the messages individually (as sent) or in a consolidated digest at the end of the day. By simply un-checking the box, member can remove themselves from those selected e-lists. Since member can be allowed to update their email address within the directory, the organization never has to maintain the database of email addresses. Member Directory Software automatically does it for you! Members can also attach files to the messages sent to the lists.
