This customization provides the capability of converting a ticket to a calendar
posting. The uses for the ticket calendar include heavy reservations logging,
busy doctors offices and telephone operators who need easy way of posting notes
to a calendar board for any staff member.
The Ticket Calendar allows you to post an event to your smart-planner
calendar by creating a ticket.
The event is posted in the same way as a ticket, except that
you choose Event from a drop down menu to specify that it is
an event.
To add an event, go to Add Tickets and under Ticket Type, choose
Request Calendar Event. Once you save the information, a new
screen will appear that contains scheduling information. It
will allow you to choose the time and date of event, type of
event and location, as well as save a recurring event.
To post the event once your event ticket is saved, go to
Ticket/Events and click Events, then find the event and click
Post to Calendar.
