Dating Software

• Dating Software Search Profiles. A free simple search function for visitors to the site without the match function enabled. Search by gender, age, location, sexual orientation, photos and such. Only some fields are viewable to the visitor. For more information on the user's profile and how to reply to the user, the visitor needs to become a member.
  
  
• Automatic Make me a Match. Automatic system that matches profiles together and notifies users of the match. Executed every time a new profile is added or modified, to see if it matches an existing user's profile. Based on the Make me a Match search function as outlined in the member's area.
  
  
• Member's Area. Password protected area for members-only. To register as a user for the free trial period and receive immediate access to user features as outlined below. Automated system.
  
  
• Member Sign Up. The registration process is provided in several steps.
  
  
  1. The user needs to provide basic data about themselves (such as name, location, age, gender, sexual orientation, etc.) as well as choosing a user name and password to identify themselves in the program. Sensitive information about the new registrant will not be viewable by the public. This type of information is stored and available to the admin only.
     
     
  2. When the basic info has been saved, the user needs to complete additional matching information.
     
     These can be -
     Physical Appearance Data: height, weight, hair, eyes, body shape, etc.
     Habits and Interests: activities, favorite food and music, etc.
     Personal Answers to Standard Questions: what do you look for in you partner, etc.
     Personal Ad Text: no restrictions.
     Store Photo: use browser interface to upload and store photo of user.
     
     
  3. The user automatically gets a free trial period to test the program, but is provided with the option to prolong their membership by becoming a paying member. This is an option available in the main member's area menu.
     
     
  4. The user's profile and picture submission must be approved by the administration before it get's published in the database and available to other users. The account gets created automatically, but the actual content of the listing will have to be approved in the administration area (see section "Administration Area" below).
     
     
  5. In the member sign up area, the user has the ability to register as a member and automatically granted access to match their profile. The registration process is several steps and will take between 10 and 30 minutes. This is for the program to gather enough information about the user to make the match program operate properly, but also to make sure that only users with serious intentions completely become members.
     
     
• User Profile. Ability to change user profile as entered upon registration (see above). Fields get updated automatically in the program. The user profile is displayed to the other users with dynamic statistics that show number of views, number of replies to profile, percentage of messages responded to, and latest date and time of login.
  
  
• Make me a Match. Search the dating software database based upon the specifications entered in the user profile. Option to only search profiles with photo. Includes options to view user's information, photo and respond to user.
  
  
• Become a Paying Member. User provides their credit card number (or likewise method of payment), which gets processed through the transaction gateway provided by your third party merchant vendor. If approved, user gets membership renewed for a pre-selected period of time. By the end of this period, user gets e-mail notification that their credit card will be charged if membership is not cancelled.

• Customer Support and Online Help. A static section with general FAQ and in additional a form to be filled out for personal responses by the site staff. Automated confirmation email gets sent to the user.

• Dating Software User Management. The User Management area is the heart of the program. The administrator will have the power to make any changes that are needed. The changes made to the program will take immediate effect and be viewable by all users. If a user violates the user-provider agreement, for example, the administrator can with ease delete the user from the system.
  
  
• Add and Delete Users. Add a new user record or delete one. Deleting a user profile will automatically send out an e-mail notification to the user, explaining on what grounds his account has been closed (example; non-payment, user requested cancellation, reports of abuse, etc.)
  
  
• New Profile Approval. The administrator in this area must approve new user accounts with their corresponding profile and picture(s). This extra step is provided in order to make sure the user indeed is serious about their posting and that the profile as well as the picture(s) are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the site. (e.g., bad language, prostitution, nude or sexually suggestive photos, etc.)
  
  
• Interaction with Users. Sends out personalized e-mail, separately to each user of the program, with the message entered by the administrator. Example of information that the administrator can provide the users, which could be updates to the program, statistics, requests for user feedback, or simply a commercial with sponsor messages. This function relies on properly configured sendmail server software.
  
  
• Online Statistics. Different statistics available based upon the database. Examples: number of new profiles added, daily searches made, user's location based upon ZIP code, and such.
  
  
• Data Back-Up. Upon request, all available user entered data will be exported into a Microsoft Excel file, available for immediate download from the browser window. Note that user's photos need to be manually downloaded through the main FTP account. For security reasons and server availability, it's recommended to do daily backups of user data and files.

• Membership Renewal. The user's credit card needs to be charged each time for the membership renewal and the membership period prolonged in the program. The program requires a transaction gateway system, provided by your merchant account or banking company. The program we create will be able to interact with any transaction gateway that uses normal HTTP POST commands. Because a third party provides this type of service, we reserve the right to modify the quote based on their system.
  
  
• Automatic Make me a Match. Automated system that matches profiles together and notifies users of the match. Executed every time a new profile is added or modified, to see if it matches an existing user's profile. Based on the "Make me a Match" search function as outlined in the member's area.
